Jesus wasn’t performing magic tricks. The great mystics and yogis throughout history weren’t bending the laws of nature. What they were doing was far more advanced—and far more available to you and me. They understood something we’ve forgotten in modern life: that reality is multidimensional, and that what we call “miracles” aren’t divine exceptions, but lawful outcomes. They’re the natural result of a spiritual logic most people never learn.
I used to think miracles were rare, unpredictable moments of divine intervention. But what I’ve come to see is this: a miracle isn’t something that drops out of the sky. It’s what happens when your inner world becomes so coherent, so certain, so aligned with truth, that reality has no choice but to rearrange itself around you. It’s not magic—it’s alignment. It’s the result of invisible spiritual laws responding to your identity, your energy, and your decisions.
There’s even a word for this body of work: metaphysics. It means “the physics behind the physics.” The rules behind the visible world. And these rules are just as real as gravity. They govern how energy becomes form—how thought becomes matter. And the most exciting part? We’re now seeing neuroscience, psychology, and quantum physics catch up to what the mystics have been saying for thousands of years.
You don’t attract what you want—you attract what you are. That’s the foundation. And once you understand how to become the version of you that matches the miracle you seek, life starts to change. Fast.
The Power of Belief: How Decisions Shape Your World
You’re not waiting for a miracle—you’re deciding which version of reality you want to live in. That might sound bold, but it’s the truth. In every moment, you are sitting at the center of a field of infinite possibility. Imagine yourself surrounded by countless doorways, each one leading to a different experience of life: abundance or scarcity, love or loneliness, purpose or confusion. The portal you step through depends entirely on what you believe to be true.
This is what Christ meant when he said, “In my Father’s house, there are many rooms.” You get to choose which room— which reality— you stay in. If you believe money is scarce, that becomes your lived experience. If you believe you’re not good enough or that people can’t be trusted, life will reflect that right back to you. Not because it’s true in some objective sense, but because your belief opens that door and your brain, your energy, and your behavior walk through it.
I know this firsthand. For years, I lived with the belief that life had to be hard, that success required struggle. And so that’s what I got—failed businesses, financial insecurity, constant stress. But things began to shift when I entered recovery and started working the 12 Steps. For the first time, I looked at the character defects that were shaping my life—indecision, fear, resentment—and I surrendered them. Slowly, I began making different decisions. I started believing new things were possible.
And the moment I did, life responded. New friendships formed. My finances improved. I met the woman who would become my wife—within two weeks of shifting my belief around relationships. The external transformation wasn’t random. It was a reflection of a new internal structure. Beliefs are decisions. And decisions create dimensions.
The Miracle Formula: Decide, Embody, Receive
There’s a formula for miracles. And it’s far simpler—and more precise—than most people realize. It’s not about hustle, luck, or waiting for divine timing. It’s about alignment. The moment I understood this, everything shifted. Miracles stopped being anomalies and started becoming a way of life.
Here’s the formula I live by: Step one: Decide. Step two: Embody. Step three: Receive.
First, you make a decision—not a hopeful wish or a vague intention, but a deep, unwavering decision that what you desire is already done. You draw a line in the sand and declare, “This is my truth now.”
Second, you live in the wish fulfilled. You begin to embody the version of you who already has it. You don’t wait for the evidence—you become it. Neville Goddard calls this “living from the end.” You act, think, and feel as if the outcome is already real.
Third, you receive. Life catches up to who you’ve become. The external world mirrors your internal coherence. It has no choice. Reality is structured to reflect identity.
This process isn’t just spiritual—it’s neurological. Neuroscience confirms that the brain doesn’t know the difference between what’s real and what’s vividly imagined. So when you begin living from the outcome, your brain records it as memory. Your nervous system calibrates to it. You build a future that hasn’t happened yet—but one your mind already recognizes as real.
That’s when identity shifts. That’s when you become your future self now. Not someday—now. And that’s when the so-called miracle arrives, not as a shock, but as the natural next step. You’ve already been living it internally. Now it just shows up externally.
Rewiring Perception: The Brain’s Filters and the Reality You See
Most people live the same day over and over again, not because they’re lazy or unlucky, but because they don’t realize they’re looking through the same lens. Your brain has a filtering system—an actual neurological structure—called the Reticular Activating System (RAS). Its job is to filter out the noise and only show you what aligns with your current beliefs. In fact, neuroscience tells us that about 88% of your reality is filtered out. You only consciously register the 12% that matches your expectations.
So if you’ve decided—maybe unconsciously—that money is hard to make, or that love never lasts, or that you’ll never find your purpose, then guess what your brain will show you? Exactly that. Even if opportunities, connections, or miracles are right in front of you, your RAS won’t let you see them. Because it’s not filtering for them. It’s filtering for what confirms what you already believe.
I see this all the time with the entrepreneurs we work with. They come in feeling stuck. But when they shift a core belief—like deciding they’re worthy of charging premium prices or capable of leading a powerful team—everything begins to change. Suddenly, they land clients they’d overlooked before. They uncover new revenue streams they couldn’t see before. Not because those things appeared out of nowhere, but because their filter finally let them in.
The other big player in this is the Default Mode Network—the part of your brain responsible for your identity, your personality, and your habitual thoughts. It forms by the time you’re about 21 and locks in your patterns of perception. That’s why change can feel so hard. You’re trying to build a new life while still wearing the lenses of the old one.
But here’s the good news: you can rewire all of it. You can shift your RAS and quiet your Default Mode Network through the very formula we’re talking about—decide, embody, receive—and through practices like breathwork, meditation, and belief work. When you do, what once felt impossible becomes obvious. What once felt invisible becomes undeniable.
The Hidden Saboteur: Resistance and the Nervous System
Here’s the part most people miss: even if you’ve made the decision and you’re visualizing your future self, if your nervous system is locked in a state of resistance, the miracle can’t land. It’s like trying to download a file with no internet connection. You’re not open to receive.
Resistance is sneaky. It shows up as stress, overthinking, indecision, comparison, worry, control. It’s the voice in your head that says, “I don’t know how,” “It’s not happening fast enough,” or “Maybe this just isn’t meant for me.” It’s the nervous system stuck in survival mode—what I call the primal state.
And that’s why I teach a simple, powerful equation: Desire + Non-Resistance = Desired Result.
It’s not Desire + Figure It Out or Desire + Hustle Harder. The only thing that stands between you and the miracle is resistance. And when you drop that resistance—when you feel safe, surrendered, and at peace—life organizes itself in alignment with your decision. Every single time.
Think about it: how many times have you desired something deeply but couldn’t stop obsessing over when, how, or if it would happen? That obsession is resistance. It activates fight or flight. It blocks reception.
I’ve lived this too. When my wife and I were trying to get pregnant, we spent time, energy, and money on IVF—and it didn’t work. But when we surrendered the how, dropped the timeline, and released the pressure… we conceived naturally two months later. That wasn’t random. That was the fruit of non-resistance.
Your nervous system must feel safe to receive. This isn’t just emotional—this is physiological. Miracles aren’t forced into existence. They are received by a body, a mind, and a spirit that is open. And the doorway to that openness is calm, coherence, and trust.
Regulate to Receive: Tools to Shift Into a Powerful State
So how do you shift out of resistance? How do you move from the primal state—where fear, stress, and overwhelm dominate—into what I call the powerful state, where you’re open, aligned, and able to receive?
It starts with regulating your nervous system. Because miracles don’t arrive in chaos—they arrive in coherence. When your body feels safe, when your heart is open, when your mind is still enough to listen—that’s when life begins to reorganize itself around your decisions.
There are countless tools to help you regulate. You can tone your vagus nerve—the superhighway that connects your gut, heart, and brain—through breathwork, humming, cold plunges, or chanting. These practices activate the parasympathetic nervous system, your rest-and-receive mode.
You can move energy out of the body with somatic release—shaking, dancing, crying, yelling into a pillow. Sometimes you have to clear the static before you can hear the signal.
There’s affirmation work, but not the kind where you robotically repeat words that don’t feel true. I’m talking about truth-telling affirmations that resonate with your nervous system, that actually feel safe to believe. There’s prayer, meditation, emotional release, and heart-centered surrender practices—all of which bring you back into a powerful state.
And when you’re in that state, you’re connected to everything you want: insight, intuition, clarity, purpose, love, abundance, peace. Not because you earned it, but because you’re finally attuned to it.
That’s the secret. You don’t chase the miracle—you tune into the version of you that already lives it. And that version of you is never anxious, never doubting, never desperate. They’re calm, clear, certain. They trust the process. And because of that trust, they receive.
Live as the Fulfilled You
This is the final piece—and it’s the one that closes the gap between where you are and the reality you’ve decided is already yours. You have to live as the fulfilled version of you. Not next year. Not once the evidence shows up. Today.
If you’ve truly decided, and you’ve moved into a state of non-resistance, then the next step is to start being the version of you who already has the miracle. How would that person think? How would they speak? What would they tolerate—or no longer tolerate? What decisions would they make? That’s how you collapse time. That’s how the miracle rushes toward you.
A friend of mine, Cody Jefferson, said it best on stage at one of our events: “This is who I am, so this is what I do.” Identity drives behavior. And when you choose the identity of the fulfilled version of you, your actions start to align automatically.
Give that future version of you a name. Picture them clearly. If you were already healthy, vibrant, in love, wealthy, purposeful—how would you carry yourself today? How would you greet people? How would you show up to your business? Your family? Your life?
Because when you start embodying that identity now, you become a match for the miracle. And it has no choice but to meet you.
This isn’t delusion—it’s design. You’re not pretending. You’re practicing. You’re rehearsing the truth until it becomes your reality. That’s the real power here. And the faster you embody who you’re becoming, the faster life catches up.
So let me leave you with this: Decide. Embody. Receive. That’s the path. That’s the formula. That’s how you perform what the world calls a miracle. And when you live in that logic, it doesn’t just change your life—it changes who you are.
