I have been getting more and more and more requests to talk about how we can manage ourselves emotionally in a productive way as we become more aware of the things in the world that we don’t agree with.  So today’s conversation is about how to perceive what’s happening through an intelligent perspective and how we can become even more powerful in the creation of our individual lives – and collectively as we move towards creating new systems and structures in the world.

The Unfolding Of The Next Evolution of Consciousness

A lot is going on in the world that a lot of people are fed up with – and it’s happening at a significant scale.  Things like environmental destruction to corporate capture of our medical industry, corporate capture of our government, the military-industrial complex, censorship, media propaganda, intelligence agencies utilizing their assets against civilians, wars of provocation, militarized viruses, and the collapse of the financial system.  At face value, these things bring an energy of fear, doom, and gloom.

I might be contrarian in some of my beliefs, but I believe that all is well in the world right now.  I believe that everything that we’re experiencing right now is a good process – an awakening process.  There’s an unfolding of consciousness that’s taking place and human beings are evolving.  There is one intelligence that extends itself through human beings, through the radioactive mechanism of the brain and the heart, that we receive as individuals and as a collective that shapes our experience of reality.

In the process, we have experiences that we like and that we don’t like, which allows us to become more clear and focused on what we want to create in our lives in a way that brings us more joy, goodness, and prosperity.  Now, the reason I believe this current unfolding is a good process is because I understand that all of us experience challenges in our lives.  But those challenges are mechanisms that allow us to become aware of the changes we want to make – and to make them.

On the same token, this process of creating well-being is happening globally.  So a lot of the systems and structures that have been in place for a long time, we are just now becoming aware of.  I’m not suggesting many of these things – wars, corporate capture, threats to individual liberties – are good things or things we like.

I’m suggesting that these things are designed to exist because they help us become clear on the fact that we don’t want to see these things happen to ourselves or happen to other people, which allows us to be even clearer on what we do want to create.  We had a Holocaust so that we could get clear that we never want to see it happen again.  Slavery existed so that we could collectively become aware that it should not be a part of our human experience.

We may not be there yet and these things may still be happening, but more of us are waking up to understanding some of the geopolitical, global, sociological, and economic dynamics that have been around for a long, long time.

Every Time I See A Wrong, I Get More Aligned With The Right

This doesn’t mean I condone any of the cruelty or tragedy we experience in our lives or that happens in the world.  In fact, it’s the opposite.  Every time I see a wrong in the world, I get more aligned with the right that is in the process of materializing and I bring my attention to that.  But that’s not what most people do.  Most people become entangled in the chaos.

One of the most important things I think we can do as spiritual individuals on the frontlines of creating change in the world is to stop paying attention to the chaos.  We need to spend more of our conscious energy and attention on what it is that we want to create.  Fear has an advantage here, as it’s the brain’s job to pay attention to whatever activates its internal fight-or-flight mechanism.

But I believe part of this awakening process that’s taking place is an evolution of what is an ancient nervous system.  Right now, we have an opportunity to use our higher awareness faculties to control our thoughts, shift our emotions, and bring our attention to the things we do want – not the things that activate this reptilian, protective mechanism of our nervous system.

Combine what’s happening internally with what’s influencing us externally, and the problem exacerbates.  We’re constantly influenced by the comparison effect of social media and the propaganda of traditional media, both of which have created this polarity and divide between us.  We’re living in this two-party, black-and-white, friend-and-enemy system which results in most of us assuming an association-based identity.

The whole thing is designed for us to take sides and then be addicted to consumption, which generates fear.  But what’s important to understand is that fear is actually the problem here, and we get to choose whether we align ourselves with it or not.

For all of us, our limiting beliefs and traumas are misinterpretations that create fear in our nervous systems.  They cause us to spend more time in the sympathetic, fight-or-flight expression of the nervous system.  But if we can start to transform those resistances, we move more into parasympathetic, we move more into relaxation, we move into a powerful state.  As a result, you start having more thoughts, more ideas, more synchronicities that are aligned with the outcome that you want to produce – and your life changes.

Metabolizing The Fear

So we’ve got all these fears that are materializing both in our individual lives and as a collective reality.  What happens is that when enough people are focused on the same fear-based feelings or emotions, it activates ideas that already exist in our collective consciousness in this sort of invisible quantum field of information.

We activate those ideas and then we receive them through this radioactive technology we have called the brain.  When we tune into those fear-based ideas, we experience a fear-based reality.  Conversely, when we tune into powerful, inspired, and creative ideas, we experience a reality that reflects them.

So everything that we’re seeing materialize externally right now is just a representation of latent fear that’s held in all of our nervous systems.  It’s unprocessed, unmetabolized, undigested, limiting beliefs, resistance, and traumas that haven’t been processed over the last few thousand years that’s now being expressed in modern civilization.

We’re seeing it in terms of how we’re perceiving censorship and totalitarian control and it comes back to the root cause, metaphysical principles I’m always talking about.  If you grew up in a family where children were seen and not heard, that resonance is held in the nervous systems and the neural networks and the brains of human beings for so long.  When enough of us experience that, over time it activates ideas in consciousness that result in censorship.

There’s Nobody Pulling The Strings, But You

Some people believe it’s guys like George Soros, Bill Gates, or Charles Schwab that are pulling all the strings – they are the ones who have these ideas and enact their global agenda to seize totalitarian control.  But the root cause, the source behind all of these things that we don’t want in our society right now, of all these things materializing is us – it’s you and I.

For me, that’s good news.  Why?  Because it’s not some external force, entity, individual, or group of people that’s responsible for creating our reality.  We get to change our reality.  How?  By directing our attention to what we want to create, not into the fear.  Otherwise, we just continue to perpetuate the system.

From a recovery perspective, I had to hit my rock bottom in order for me to realize that there was a better way to live.  Right now, we may be experiencing a bottom globally, but our individual experience of it is dependent upon whether or not we engage in fear.

Time To Pack It Up?

I know a lot of people right now, including some of my clients, who are considering packing it all up, buying a ranch, and living life as a doomsday prepper.  That’s fine if that’s what you want to do.  But in my opinion, that sort of response is entangling with the fear, not rising above it.

I happen to live on a mountaintop retreat on acreage with chickens, fruits and vegetables growing, a water cistern, and a backup generator.  But I’m not prepping.  I just happened to move here because I love it and designed my life in such a way that I created this as my reality.  You can do the same.  All of us can.

If you can just continue to clear out your resistances, you get to have an extraordinary life. And as you start to become aware of what’s happening globally, because now you’re more spiritually connected, you’re not as judgmental, you’re open to alternative media, you stop watching the regular news because you realize like that there’s nothing here that’s substantive,  you start surrounding yourself with other people who aren’t entangling with the fear, I can all but guarantee that you’re going to look back and realize that everything worked out for you.

In The Battle Against Fear, Faith Will Prevail

As I talk about a lot, having faith is an important part of this evolution process.  I believe that there is a loving, infinitely intelligent mechanism that governs everything – call it God, Jesus, Allah, Buddha, the Universe, whatever you want.   It’s always working for our greatest growth, our greatest prosperity, and our greatest evolution – even amidst all of the challenges we’re experiencing individually and collectively.

There’s a lot of language that’s used in the Bible that tells us that “the battle” is not ours to fight, it’s the Lord’s.  Whether you’re Christianity-inclined or not, it’s a good lesson to accept that our job is to be in faith, to be in peace, to be in joy, to be in compassion, to be in loving kindness, even towards our enemies

Some people think that that’s too “kumbaya” or pollyanna, but I believe that is how we’ll actually change things.  And when we have a bunch of people who are living fearlessly in faith in a higher power with a vision of a better world as a result of experiencing a world that had a lot of horrific things in it, that’s how we’re going to create the next evolution of humanity.
