In this episode of A Changed Mind, David Bayer reveals the hidden unifying code beneath the world’s six major religions — and makes the case that each avatar didn’t come to compete with the others, but to deliver a distinct piece of an evolutionary blueprint for human consciousness.

David strips away centuries of dogma and institutional religion to examine what each of the six primary avatars actually came to teach at their core. Abraham introduced a new identity — the personal covenant between humanity and a singular, loving God. Moses followed with structure, giving the newly liberated a code of conduct to operate within. Krishna contributed dharma, the recognition that each person has a specific role to play in the unfolding of reality — and that right action, not attachment to outcomes, is the path forward. Jesus then demonstrated what it looks like when all of that is fully embodied in a human being, relocating the sacred from external ritual to the inner world and establishing love as the organizing principle of life.

Muhammad extended this further, showing how individual awakening could scale into an entire civilization — that spiritual consciousness isn’t confined to personal practice but should shape economics, justice, community, and governance. And the Buddha addressed what remained unresolved across all of it: suffering itself. His contribution is the clarity of mind — the structured path through meditation and self-awareness that allows human beings to see how their own mental patterns create limitation, and to release them.

When these six transmissions are understood together, a seventh emerges — not delivered by another prophet, but arising from the collective. David calls this attention sovereignty: humanity’s capacity to reclaim conscious direction of attention from the algorithms, media cycles, and fear-based systems that have hijacked it. As individuals clear the old patterns and rewire their inner world, creation becomes intentional, relationships become present, and civilization itself begins to reorganize around a higher level of awareness.
